Nanocellulose
The UMaine Process Development Center (PDC) supplies cellulose nanofibrils (CNF) and cellulose nanocrystals (CNC) to academic, public and private research groups interested in evaluating and developing applications for these materials.
The PDC offers several types of cellulose nanomaterials for research:
- CNF – cellulose nanofibers
- CNC – cellulose nanocrystals
- TOCN – Tempo-oxidized cellulose nanofibers
